I'm so very sorry for your loss. I remember Doug from Melrose High...the English History trip and many classes. He always had a twinkle, witticism...fun and smart.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Alison, Keith, & Andrea-

I truly don't know where to start. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Doug was just such an unbelievable man. Full of jokes & laughs. Much like the rest of your family! Its obvious his heart was FULL of love for his family.

You've got a few perfect angels up there...with you every step of the way.

Love you guys.

Alison,

My heart aches for you and for the losses that you have endured. I have fond memories of the patience and love that Doug had for Mikey,Keith and Andrea when they were very young. I remember him telling me that Mikey loved music with "strong bass notes" and turning the music up just a little louder for him to enjoy. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. Rest in Peace, Mr.Marcotti.

Dear Alison, Keith & Andrea,
Aunt Norma, Uncle Arthur & Diane ~

I am heartbroken over the news of Doug's passing. He populates my earliest memories, from our childhood in neighboring apartments in Medford to the many Gradone family gatherings where we'd search each other out upon arrival. He taught me everything I know about dinosaurs (still!) and kept me endlessly entertained with his sly humor and keen observations, even in those early years.
I cherish the memory of so many wonderful times
