I will miss effie so much she was a class act always the lady.I will miss going in each morning to give her her morning kiss i know she looked forward to them she would always say"thank you for that" but its was my pleasure.she spoke of judy and david often and so looked forward to judys visits.God bless you effie rest in peace.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Effie @ American Mutual
for a short 5 year period up until the early 1980s. She was such a joyful inspiration to all who worked with her at the workplace. Her smile and wit was her attributes I have always remembered in the "Stat" division we had worked.
Effie will long be remembered!
My condolences to all her family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful woman Effie was. I have so many memories of her that I've collected over the years. I fondly remember that old wooden egg cup that she kept in the cabinet over the sink and how she would ALWAYS cook the egg just right. And the raisen bread in the breadbox in the pantry. I am so sorry to hear about "Aunt Effie's" passing. I have fond memories of being over your house in Melrose on Holidays with your mother and father. She was a very kind, special, "Aunt". My heart goes out to you during this sad time. One thing for sure, we know she's in "Heaven".

Dear Judy & David,
So sorry to hear of Aunt Effie's passing. She became my Aunt too with the girls from Newfoundland. I always enjoyed my little visits with her at Kirkland. She always had such a wonderful smile and a pleasant greeting when I visited. I will never forget her and her kindness.

Judy, David and family are thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times. Effie was an incredibly giving and caring lady, the only thing greater than her smile was the the love she extended to everyone around her.
